Bye bye Atlantis
Well. It’s over. In KidZania, I was trying to get 7000 kidzos (the fake money) to buy a Wii.
Dubai was great fun, and now I’m back at home. I enjoyed Atlantis a lot, and I hope you also learned some stuff about it, for your trip.
Thanks for coming with me! Bye, bye Atlantis.
Day 4- Lost track of days
Looks like we’re leaving on Wednesday. Not Tuesday, but Wednesday. That means we aren’t going to KidZania right now. We’re going there on Wednesday.
What drama. Anyway, we’re playing at the water park until it’s about 7:00 PM, then we’ll have to catch a taxi to Marriott. Then we’ll sleep and tomorrow morning, we’ll head to Dubai Mall, for KidZania and more.
A lot of you say you want to meet me. How do you know you haven’t already met me? Okay, lol, since a lot of you do want me to post pics and stuff, I was like, thinking about it and then I came up with this awesome comeback. This is totally random and not worth reading. Sorry. Bye.
Still day 3- TBJ Heavan
TBJ stands for The Burger Joint. Mmmm!
Since Saffron, the buffet for dinner doesn’t have much that I like, we’re ordering burgers and fries! I’m getting Triple Cheese Burger and fries with cookies and cream milkshake. Mmmm!
Okay, so ever since we came here it’s been supah hot. (Like burning hot. Seriously hot. I’m literally red now!) Like 45 degrees each day. Ahhh. The floor (during the day) is burning hot like someone lit fire on coals and you’re walking over it. You have to jump and jump and run FAAAAST!! So my dad bought us these shoes that you are supposed to wear in the water, AND land. That was soo useful.
I’m still in our room waiting for the burgers and stuff to arrive. Let me tell you more about today- so there is zip-lining here, but I can’t gather up the courage to do it. Plus I don’t feel like it, lol. Tomorrow is our last day! In the afternoon we will check out of Atlantis, and head over to Marriott, then we will go to Dubai Mall-KidZania and then to the airport.
I like KidZania. One of the reasons I don’t tell my age is because if I am older then you, you will think I should be more ‘mature’ and stuff. Basically, I don’t reveal my age because older viewers might not take me seriously, and younger viewers might be intimidated. Furthermore, I don’t want anyone using my age against me. So, yeah.
Anyway. Still waiting for the burgers…
Do you guys (viewers) enjoy my Traveling Diaries, because I’m very curious to know if people are interested and read it.
I’m going to watch TV while I watch for my meal to come. Oh, and I just hit 600 Subs!! Thankssss!!! When I hit 1,500 I’ll do a giveaway!
Day 3- Undiscovered water park
Turns out we’ve only explored half the water park so far. So right after breakfast, which we just finished-we’re heading to it.
And today, I think, is Eid, so Eid Mubarak to those who celebrate it!
Today’s going to be very crowded because of Eid. At about 2:00 we’re heading to the ‘kids club’ which my brother will go to, and like I said previously, I’m going to Club Rush, as I am too old for kids club. Anyway, soo that’s it right now. It’s 11:36 here in Dubai right now.
Okay now it’s time to go, so bye!
PS I’ll try to update after we come back!! Sooo see you!
Day 2- Slushies are healthy
The day started out nice and warm, with no sun out, which was awesome, because the floor wasn’t that hot. After another yummy breakfast, we headed for the water park again. This time I mostly sat alone on my tube, so that it was lighter and faster, and I could spin round and round, which I couldn’t do in the double tube with my little brother. Then the sun came out, and it became very hot.
Slushies became medicine, because they would hydrate us, and cool us down. I got grape, bubble gum and blue raspberry, like I did yesterday. Tomorrow I’m getting the ‘Special Combo’ which I think has ice cream on top! I just had shower. I’m drinking tons of cold water as well. After this I’ll rest then go back to the water park, come back, take a shower, and then go to Club Rush. Club Rush is for Tweens and Teens here. It’s for people older then 10 years of age, but younger then 18 years of age.
After that at about 8:30 PM or 9:oo PM we’re going for dinner. Watch out for updates!
Cold water, hot air
It’s 45 degrees Celsius here. It’s super hot and humid, and I turned RED.
My little brother and I were sharing the double tube, and a wave hit us. There were about 10 more people on their tubes, ready for the waves. I’m not sure I held tight enough, because me and my little brother got flipped over!! It was actually fun and funny, not at all suffocating, since we both know how to swim.
Right now it’s about 8:30 PM, and it’s been a long and terrific day. I just finished taking a shower and getting ready for dinner. I’ve taken 3 showers today, lol. One in the morning before I left for the airport, one at 12:40 PM after we left the water park for a few hours, for the air to cool down, and the floor as well. The floor felt like it had burning coals. It burnt badly! My little brother and I had put our flip-flops away, not realizing how hot it would be, though we defiantly SHOULD have.
On Tuesday morning, we’re going to Marriott Hotel, because it closer to Dubai Mall, and my brother really wants to visit KidZania. I think it’s cool, how kids can experience the difficulties and hard challenges adults face, and how hard work pays off for a great award. You basically take a test (forgot what it’s called) and then it gives you the three places you should work. Then you earn money (fake) and can ACTUALLY spend it on real stuff! I’m not completely sure how to describe, so use Google to help.
It’s pretty complex, but easy to follow.
Well, that’s about it. I’m going to chill for a few minutes before we leave, plus I need to blow-dry my hair. That’s it for now, see you tomorrow!
One too many marshmallows
Just finished breakfast at Saffron, which is an International Restaurant at Atlantis. I’m taking a half an hour break, because I am stuffed. Lol, I ate tons of yogurt, just to get the free whipped cream on top, which is just stupid. But, it was pretty fancy, so yeah. I’m glad we took an early flight, because or else we would miss today’s breakfast, even though we payed for it. 🙂 Our room is fantastic! It’s huuuuuuge. So huge.
On an unrelated topic, a lot of you guys like my recipes, and requested a recipe page. I’ll get to that as soon as I get back!
Anyway. I have time to blog now, but I don’t know about later.
See the title? One too many marshmallows, is the truth. There was chocolate fountain and marshmallows on a stick. And I’m a girl. So chocolate fountain+marshmallows+girl= happiness. Get on with it. Now I’m super full.
Okay, so that’s about it for now. I’m leaving to go to the water park.
PS Atlantis, you have such an amazing view! You are one of the best hotel/resorts e-ver!
June 26, At the Airport
I’m at the airport! I couldn’t sleep at all. My flight is at 6:05 AM, and I woke up to get ready at 3:00 AM. At 8:30 I took a shower and tried to fall asleep, but I couldn’t. Was it the excitement, or the fact that I slept 3 hours during the day? Whatever it was, it kept me up. I’m probably posting this after I board the plane. I’m about to soon. The airport isn’t as cold as I thought it would be.
And BTW, for today’s #OOTD, I’m wearing my plaid black and white shirt, red shirt underneath, jeans, red converse and have my hair in a side braid, as I decided I would do in yesterday’s post. I’m not completely sure that I’ll be able to blog once I arrive, but I’ll try my best. The plane doesn’t have Wi-Fi (I don’t think?) and even if it does, I’m not paying for it. 😛
I’m pretty sure I skipped dinner, so I had a really quick meal before we came here, and I’m starving, but it’s almost time for me to get in the plane, so I’ll wait.
There’s always a cold sandwich and drinks. TBH, I’m kinda tired now. 9 minutes left. Yawn. Yawn. Lol, seems legit. Okay well, that’s about it for now. I bet I sound super boring this early in the morning. Whatever. Wish me luck with my flight! Bye!!
Tomorrow I fly!
June 25- Tomorrow!! It’s tomorrow. I’m leaving tomorrow!! I’m leaving super early, and I’ll tell you the time when I’m at the airport. I’m still at home right now though. I don’t even know what to wear…I didn’t even start to pack! I’m probably going to wear something like this:
Plaid black and white shirt, red shirt under, jeans and red converse with my hair in a side braid. I’ll probably unbutton some buttons on the shirt so that you can see the red shirt underneath.
My black and gold ‘The Making of Harry Potter’ shirt that I got at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London with vertical lined jeans. IDK what their called. With red converse, again.
😦 Can’t find a picture of it online.
Anyway, that’s about it. Better start packing. Watch out for tomorrow’s news, which will probably be in the airport. Oh, and did you know that Dubai got a new airport? 🙂
1 day till the trip
It’s currently Thursday, and on Saturday, I’m leaving for Dubai. (No, I’m not Arab, if you were wondering) I’m going there for summer. (After that I’m going to Paris, and you can expect a page for that! 🙂 ) I haven’t finished packing yet. AKA, I haven’t started yet either. I love water parks, so I can’t wait.
I seriously can’t imagine how much I’ll have to eat, because, from my past experience, Dubai is pretty rich, in both food and money (did that make sense? I don’t know)
What I’ve done so far is made a to-do list. I’ve checked only a few things off, non of them being what I’m going to wear nor what I’ll be in the airport. It’s summer. So no sweaters? Although, the plane is kind of cold. But there are blankets. In most planes, at least.
I’m soooo excited. Really. Really. REALLY excited. It’s going to be so much fun!! Sorry, I sound like a little 6-year-old. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I just finished buying books on my Kindle. Even though I’ve read it once, then twice, then three times, I’m still going to read it. Again. Oh, you might not know what I’m talking about. That’s okay, really, just look through a bunch of my other posts. Okay, I’ll tell you! The Entire Complete Seven books…. of….Harry Potter!! On the plane, I’ll be re-reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Anyway…this is basically another post about my obsession with the Harry Potter Series.
Back to the trip. Uh, I’ve been to Dubai before, but I haven’t ever stayed in Atlantis. What’s it like? I do know one thing though-it sure is expensive and crowded this time of year! Ahh, summer. How fun you are. Lol. You can expect some better posts on Saturday, although I’m not sure if I’ll have time to blog. If I do, you know I will! And thankfully, there’s free Wi-Fi in Atlantis. (Thank you, Atlantis!)
Well, that’s about it for now!! Hope you enjoyed this random post.
If you guys would like I’m going to post at the Airport on Saturday, so I can at least I can keep you guys updated. Bye 😀
